8 Months Old

 

Here’s a few photos from Mikey’s ISR class…

Daddy picked out these camos for Mikey :)

Michael had his first ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) class today.  They sent a reusable swim diaper which he has on in the photos…The class is not a traditional swimming class – instead it teaches infants as young as 6 months old to turn to their backs to float until help arrives – if God forbid they should fall into a body of water.  Towards the end of the class, Michael will go in the water fully clothed so that he feels the difference in the water when his clothes are on and soaking wet.  Check out this link http://www.childdrowningprevention.com/index.html or this one http://www.infantswim.com/

MJ continues to stand without holding on to anything…he also has taken several steps all by himself - on his way to walking!  His Mommy walked at 9 months and his Daddy walked at 12 months, so we’ll see when MJ starts walking…

Michael was crying all day because more teeth are coming in and he was miserable :(  He starts crying, but not hysterical, so we continue with what we were doing…but then we look over and see this!  Mikey was stuck in one of his toy boxes :)
